Cemeteries in the Diocese of Niagara

The Diocese of Niagara's 52 cemeteries provide a sacred and safe resting place for Anglicans and non-Anglican alike. While some are full, several continue to sell lots and provide burials as well as Scattering Gardens, Memorial Gardens and Columbaria.

Parish Cemetery Guidelines:

  • All cemeteries must be licensed if there are sales of lots and interments
  • This license includes scattering gardens, memorial gardens and columbaria
  • All changes in diocesan cemeteries including establishment, expansion, alternation, and additions must have the permission of the Bishop and the Cemetery Regulation Unit
