CLIMATE JUSTICE NIAGARA AT ALL SAINTS RIDGEWAY

All Saints Ridgeway accepted the call to action from the Diocese to do our part to be the best stewards of the earth.  The objective of Climate Justice Niagara at the Diocese is to ensure that all Anglicans in Niagara, lay and clergy, understand environmental stewardship and advocacy to be inherent in their Christian spirituality and action.  At All Saints Ridgeway we were granted our Bronze Level Accreditation in September 2022 that recongized some of the things that we had already been doing (such as: the used book store, rummage sales, use of recycling bins and use of email to distribute newsletters) and the things we have implemented (such as: offering a Lions Club eyeglass and hearing aid recycling program, using rain barrels in our gardens, installing a higher efficiency heating and air-conditioning system with programmable thermastats).  We will continue to find new ways to reduce, reuse and recycle to take care of the earth for future generations.
