You'll learn what it takes to become a modern-day disciple and disciple-maker by understanding the process, practising the skills, and gaining the confidence to fulfill your call to action by obeying Jesus' "Great Commission," the command that has the power to transform our reality right now in 2024!
Inspired by the writings of The Reverend Jessie Cruickshank, explore what it means to be Christian disciples as ordinary people. Discipleship is for more than those who have expertise in divinity and theology and is the very heart of our faith. Sponsored by the Niagara Huron Cursillo Secretariat and the diocese, this one-day event will include practical workshops with Jessie Cruickshank, renowned author, and neuroscientist. Community Missioner Ian Mobsby and Dr. John Bowen will provide diocesan and local perspectives as we evaluate modern discipleship.
