Poppy Project

To mark the centenary of the poppy as a symbol of peace and remembrance in 2021 we launched the St. John's Poppy Project. It was a community driven initiative that gathered national attention as over 7,000 knitted or crotched poppies were installed throughout the church property as an outdoor art installation. In 2022 we are inviting you to knit or crochet poppies to expand the project through the village of Elora in the month of November. The pattern is available on our website.
