Appointment (Bruce Mackenzie, Climate Justice Niagara)
Posted: July 17, 2024We are pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Mackenzie as chair of the Climate Justice Niagara Committee, effective June 1, 2024, for a two-year term. Bruce holds a Master in Theology from Trinity College with a specialization in Theology and Ecology from the Elliott Allen Institute for Theology and Ecology at St. Michael’s College. He presently serves as the office administrator at St. George’s, Guelph and has a strong interest in environmental protection.
At the same time, we are deeply grateful for the two years Irene Pang has dedicated to the role of chair for Climate Justice Niagara.

Posted: July 4, 2024It is with sorrow that we share the news of the death of the Reverend Michael Clarke, rector of St. Stephen’s, Hornby, on Saturday, June 29, 2024. A service of celebration and thanksgiving for his life will take place on Saturday, July 27 at 11am at Christ Church in Brampton (4 Elizabeth St N, Brampton ON L6X 1S2). Clergy are invited to be present; dressed in clericals and sit in the nave. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26 from 4-8pm at the Glendale Funeral Home & Cemetery (1810 Albion Rd, Etobicoke ON M9W 5T1 - Albion Rd & Hwy 27). Please hold Michael’s wife, Tina, his family, friends, colleagues, and parish in your prayers as they mourn. May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
