Resignation (Gillian Doucet Campbell)

Gillian Doucet Campbell has submitted her resignation as director of stewardship and development effective March 11, 2022.  Gillian and her family plan to move to Nova Scotia, where she will take up the new role of engagement leader at the Cathedral in Halifax.  We wish them well as they prepare for this move.

The Reverend Michael Mernagh, priest-in-charge, part time, at St. John's, Rockwood, has accepted the additional role to also minister as priest-in-charge, part time, at St. Alban's, Acton, effective February 1, 2022.

Patricia Jenkins, O.N. (2006), a faithful member of St. John's, Ridgemount, died on January 8.  Her funeral was held on January 12.  Please remember the bereaved family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathy to Bishop Michael Bird (Susan), and family, on the death of Michael's mother, Florence Bird, on January 10.  Florence was a faithful member of St.Aidan's and Epiphany, Oakville.  A private family service will be held with a livestream of the service available on Thursday, January 13th, at 10 a.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville -   Please remember the bereaved family in your thoughts and prayers.

Eleanor (Ellie) Johnson, former staff member of the National Church; and member of St. Simon's, Oakville, died on January 7.  Ellie served in many capacities in the Canadian Church:  Mission Education Coordinator; Associate Director of World Missions; Interim General Secretary; and Director of Partnerships.  Our deepest condolences to Ellie's family and we ask for your prayers as they grieve her loss.

Resignation (The Reverend Scott McLeod)

The Reverend Scott McLeod has submitted his resignation as Associate Priest at St. George's, St. Catharines, effective January 31, 2022.  Scott has accepted the position to be Chaplain at Renison College, at the University of Waterloo, beginning February 1, 2022.
