New NSML Coordinator (Hannah Keller)

We are delighted to announce that Hannah Keller will serve as the coordinator of the Niagara School for Missional Leadership (NSML), on a part-time basis. As coordinator, she will support and uplift the ministry of NSML, focusing on the formation of missional leaders who can inspire and equip others for participation in God's mission. In addition, Hannah will continue to provide support to the executive officer and secretary of Synod as governance administrator.

It is with sadness that we share the news of the death of the Reverend Deacon Rob Roi on January 21, 2026. A service celebrating Rob’s life will take place at St. James Anglican Church in Dundas (137 Melville St) on Saturday, January 31 at 11:00am, with a reception to follow. Please hold Rob’s wife of 76 years, Margaret; his daughters, Margot, Kathyrn, and Micheline; and their families, friends, and parish family in your prayers as they mourn. May he rest in peace and rise in glory!

Brian Grose, O.N., member of St. Cuthbert’s, Oakville, died on Thursday, January 15, 2026. A Celebration of Life service will be held at St. Cuthbert’s Anglican Church (1541 Oakhill Dr, Oakville) on Friday, January 23 at 10am, followed by a reception in the Church Hall. Interment will take place at St. Jude’s Cemetery in Oakville following the reception. Visitation will take place at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville) on Thursday, January 22 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. In your prayers, please remember Brian’s wife of 61 years, Elizabeth, their children Peter and Helen and their families, friends, and parish community. May he rest in peace and rise in glory!

Resignation (Sarah Bird)

Sarah Bird has submitted her resignation to Bishop Susan Bell from her position as Missional Formation Coordinator, effective February 1, 2026. Sarah has discerned a call to work with Alongside Hope as their youth engagement coordinator. We wish Sarah well in her new ministry and look forward to working with her in this new role in the Church!
