Ruth Anne Martin has submitted her resignation as Administrator of Accounts Payable and Receivable, and will retire on April 30, 2018. Prior to her position in the finance department, Ruth Anne began at Cathedral Place as receptionist. She has also been an active leader in the Fresh Start Program, and her plan is to continue with that on a volunteer basis after retirement. We wish Ruth Anne and her husband, Andrew, many great retirement years.

Coadjutor Bishop Elected (Susan Bell)Posted: March 3, 2018
The Reverend Canon Susan Bell has been elected by the synod of the Diocese of Niagara to serve as coadjutor bishop, and ultimately succeed the Right Reverend Bishop Michael Bird on June 1, 2018.
Canon Susan Bell, 51, is a pioneering priest and former school chaplain who was ordained in 1997 by the Anglican Diocese of Toronto. She is presently the canon missioner for the Diocese of Toronto, an honorary assistant at St. James Cathedral, Toronto, and an associate priest at the parish of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Toronto. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in Church History at St. Michael’s College within the Toronto School of Theology. Read her election profile here.
A service to consecrate the bishop-elect is planned for Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Christ’s Church Cathedral in Hamilton.
