Sympathy (Canon John Whittall)
Posted: November 21, 2025It is with sadness that we share the news of the death of the Reverend Canon John Duncan Whittall on November 13, 2025. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 22 at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene (477 Manning Ave, Toronto). Visitation will be held at St. Mary Magdalene on Friday, November 21 after the 6:00pm Mass, and on Saturday, November 22 at 1:00pm prior to the funeral. Please hold John’s family, friends, and colleagues in your prayers as they mourn. May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
