Provincial Appointment (Canon Greg Tweney)
Posted: July 31, 2025Archbishop Anne Germond, provincial metropolitan, has announced the appointment of Canon Greg Tweney as the new chancellor for the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario, effective immediately. Greg previously served as provincial vice-chancellor. He will continue to serve as Niagara's diocesan chancellor, concurrent with this new role.

Posted: July 10, 2025Our deepest sympathy to the Venerable Marion Vincett, honorary assistant of St. George’s, St. Catharines, on the death of her husband, Dr. Paul Vincett, on Saturday, July 6, 2025. Paul was the much-loved husband of Archdeacon Marion for 60 years and a distinguished scientist by profession, but likely best-known to clergy for managing their income tax affairs. Paul’s celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11:00am at St. George’s (83 Church St, St. Catharines, ON L2R 3C7). Please remember Marion, her family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
