With sadness, we share the news that the Reverend Canon Ruth Jefferson died on July 29. Ruth ministered as Diocesan Coordinator and later as Director of Program, as well as Honorary Assistant at St. James, Dundas and St. John's, Ancaster. In addition, she also served in the dioceses of Kootenay, Rupert's Land, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Canon Philip Jefferson. Please keep her family, friends and colleagues in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn. A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, August 5th, at Grove Cemetery, Dundas, at 10:00 a.m.
