Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the joyful resurrection of Christ; that death is not the end of God’s story. We celebrate that when all hope seemed lost, and the tomb was sealed, Jesus rose from the dead.

The Resurrection is a promise of hope and a promise of God’s love for us. It reminds us that evil does not win, and new life is possible.

It is also a call for us to live as Resurrection people. Renewed in faith, hope, and mission.

Parishes will celebrate these promises today through their Sunday services filled with joyful liturgy, music, Eucharist, and prayer.
