In partnership with the Niagara School for Missional Leadership, Bishop Susan Bell invites the women of the diocese to join her on retreat in Niagara-on-the-Lake this October. From October 16-17 at St. Mark’s, this retreat will explore how women’s leadership strengthens the church’s mission today and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ordination of women in the Anglican Church of Canada.
The retreat begins on Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm with a wine and cheese reception and a Compline Service. Saturday, the retreat runs from 9:15 am to 4:00 pm and will feature a special lecture by Bishop Susan and a panel of women ministry leaders, along with opportunities for individual and group reflection and prayer.
The cost of this retreat is $75 and does not include accommodations. Accommodations are available at the Hilton Garden Inn at a preferred group rate.
