At the invitation of the Bishop of Cuba, Bishop Michael Bird along with the Reverend Bill Mous, Director of Justice Community and Global Ministries, will visit our companion diocese Cuba. They will be joined by the Primate and a delegation from the Anglican Church of Canada. The itinerary will include a presentation to the annual Synod of the Diocese of Cuba, lunch with the Canadian Ambassador to Cuba, and visits to the parish of Fieles a Jesus and the Evangelical Seminary of Theology, both in Matanzas.
In November, Bishop Michael and Bishop Griselda signed a five-year companion diocese relationship covenant. This extended our ten-year relationship with the Diocese of Cuba. Click here to learn more about our companion diocese relationship.
