Safe Church Training for Lay Volunteers

Healthy Boundaries Basics is our Safe Church training workshop designed specifically for lay parish staff and volunteers (e.g., wardens, music directors, parish administrators, children/youth ministry coordinators, treasurers, etc.). This session will be held on Saturday, October 5, 9:00am – 12:30pm through Zoom.

As well as having a moral obligation to those we serve, we are under legal obligation to our insurers to provide continuing education about safe church policies and practices. Attendance will deepen participants' awareness of what it means to foster a safe church culture and maintain healthy boundaries, heighten pastoral sensitivity, and offer new skills for ministry.
