Anglican Lutheran National Worship Conference

Anglican Lutheran National Worship Conference (NWC), a triennial conference which supports faithful and vital worship in the ministries of our churches and further strengthen our Full Communion partnership, will be held July 13-16, 2020 in Ottawa, Ontario.

The theme is: Subversive Story, Song, Symbol: Worship in an Age of Spectacle

The guest presenters are Channon Ross, author of Gifts Glittering and Poisoned: Spectacle, Empire and Metaphysics, and Conference musician, Debbie Lou Ludolph, Dean of Chapel and Director of the Kanata Centre for Global Song at Martin Luther University.

Thoughtful and creative worship and music will be central to each of the days; a variety of workshops for lay and ordained worship planners, leaders and musicians; and time for meeting and networking with others engaged and passionate about worship. A Banquet will include the awarding of the Companion of the Worship Arts to one Anglican and one Lutheran recipient, in recognition of local and national contributions to worship in our churches.

Conference fee:

  • Early Bird Conference Fee: $375 (valid until May 1/20)
  • Late Conference Fee: $450 (beginning May 2/20, until June 30/20)
