Choral Eucharist – BAS

Sundays at 10:30 am

St. John's Choir, led by organist Lawrence Eady, sings every Sunday at the 10:30 Eucharist as well as on special occasions.  There is always a Cantor for the Psalm as well as an Anthem by the ensemble.  There is also a Communion solo or duet for a time of quiet reflection.  The congregation is encouraged to participate with the selected hymns of the day, all with accompaniment of either the piano or the organ.  The Choir practices every Thursday evening in the Church if you would be interested in joining the group.

There is also a children's programme led by Laurie Angle at the 10:30 Eucharist for families with children.  The children are invited to attend the service for their bible story lesson by our interim Pastor Cathie before the first reading after which they go to the Parish Hall for further play related to the liturgical theme of the day.
