Sympathy (Craig Stirtzinger, O.N.)

Craig Stirtzinger, O.N., long time and faithful member of Holy Trinity, Fonthill, passed away on August 14.   Funeral service will be held from his parish church of Holy Trinity, 1557 Pelham Street, Fonthill, on Saturday, August 18 at 11 a.m.  Our thoughts and prayers are extended to his wife, Mary Jo, and their family. 

In Memoriam: The Reverend Barbara Pettit

It is with sadness that we share the news that the Reverend Barbara Pettit, honorary assistant at the Church of St. Matthias and St. James the Apostle, Guelph, died on August 6. 

A celebration of her life will be held at  St. Matthias and St. James in Guelph on Saturday, August 18 at 11:00am, with visitation taking place at 10:00am. Clergy are invited to vest (colour: white). A reception will follow the service.

Please remember Barbara's husband, John, along with all their family, friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Resignation (The Reverend Javier Arias)

The Reverend Javier Arias has submitted his resignation as Rector of St.Alban's, Beamsville, effective August 31. Javier feels called to seek other ministry opportunities in the Epicopal Church USA, and in Latin American contexts. We are committed to the continuation of the Migrant Farm Worker's mission as a vital diocean ministry.

Contract Concluded (Lisa Di Veto)

The Bishop has decided to conclude, effective September 30, our legacy giving and fund development contract with Lisa Di Veto as part of a reimagining of this area of ministry. We have appreciated Lisa’s substantial efforts over the past three years to strengthen our parish ministries and wish her well going forward.
