Call for Applications: Hands Across Niagara Grants

Engaged in justice with a community partner? You may be eligible for $5000!

Posted January 7, 2015

Guided by our diocesan vision, parishes are invited to discern ways to align ministry resources with the many voices crying out for justice in every corner of our diocese. Hands Across Niagara grants help enable this work by supporting projects that seek to address root-causes of injustice. One element that marks Hands Across Niagara as different and innovative is the focus on bringing together local congregations, community organizations, and activists. A strong, viable partnership is required to apply for grants.

Over the past few years, Hands Across Niagara Grants have supported many parishes as they engage local justice issues with their partners. Have a look at the Hands Across Niagara webpage for some of the many compelling projects that these grants have supported. Your parish may be the next to have its story of furthering God's mission featured.

Through the generosity of Anglicans, the maximum value of the Hands Across Niagara grant continues to be $5000. For more information, please read this call for applications. But don't delay, the application deadline is March 2. Application forms may be downloaded from the Grants page on our website.
