Annual Online Reporting Deadline

The 2015 financial and ministry online report forms are now ready for inputting parish data! The annual reporting process is governed by several canons and coordinated by the staff of the diocesan finance department. 

"This information is really important to us and used to look at our ministries across the diocese and our vision-related activities," said Jody Beck, Diocesan Treasurer.  "A number of the statistics gathered are also forwarded to our National Church office to provide ministry information about the whole Anglican Church of Canada." 

Here's what you need to know:

• All reports, including the Financial Report, DMM Report and Parish Ministry Report, are to be completed online by March 31.
• Chapter 7 in the Parish Treasurers Manual is a good reference tool. The manual and other helpful resources can be found on the Wardens and Treasurers page of the website.
• The Delegates to Youth Synod Report should be completed as soon as possible; these delegates do not need to be elected at vestry meetings, but youth members to diocesan synod do.

It is also important that once reports are submitted online, a paper copy of the annual vestry report, including financial statements, is also forwarded to Kim Waltmann at Cathedral Place.
