Office Administrator - St. Mark's Church, Niagara-on-the-Lake

St. Mark's Church, a 226-year-old church in the historic heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, requires an office administrator to handle its day-to-day operations.
This position requires administrative competence. The successful candidate will have office management experience and thrive in a church-oriented environment.
Reporting to the Corporation of St. Mark's Church, the successful candidate is responsible for routine office management, including filing, accurate record keeping, bulletin and meeting preparation, booking church facilities for all activities, providing support to the Rector, interacting with parishioners and visitors, recruiting and supervising volunteers, and supervising summer students.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have advanced computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new programs, have excellent organizational and time management skills, have the ability to rapidly adapt to changing priorities, and be self-directed and a team player.
Applicants must have at least three years' office experience and a post-secondary education in office administration.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is Monday to Friday, 27 hours per week.
