Clergy & Licensed Lay Workers Day

Clergy and Licnesed Lay Workers will gather Thursday, May 11 at St. John's in Ancaster (272 Wilson St. E.) from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Lunch will be provided.

The day will focus on medically-assisted dying: issues and responses. Guest panelists include:

  • The Reverend Joanne Davies, Chaplain of Sunnybrook Health Sciences and St. John's Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto
  • Dr. Bev Hattersley, Medical Director, Palliative Care Unit, St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton Health Sciences in Hamilton
  • The Reverend Deacon Rod McDowell, Deacon, St. Paul's Fort Erie; Deputy Director of the College of Deacons of Niagara; Deputy Judge of Small Claims Court; and Refugee lawyer (retired)
